What is Keychain.plus?
Keychain.plus is a desktop coding workspace with frontier models built in. You buy hours on this website, then paste your app key into the app to chat, edit project files, and review Git changes.
Which models can I use?
All of them, in every hour: Claude Opus 5, Claude Opus 4.8, Claude Sonnet 5, GPT-6 Sol, GPT-6 Luna, GPT-5.6 Terra, GPT-5.5, GLM-5.3, GLM-5.3 Flash, Grok 4.7, and Grok 4.6. Switch models from the menu in the app whenever you like.
Do you count tokens?
You don't pay per token and there is no token budget for normal use. You buy time and use it however you like. We do count tokens to protect the service. A key that uses far more in one hour than heavy normal use pauses until that hour's usage clears, and each key runs up to 2 replies at once. A single prompt times out after 30 minutes of work. Send a message to continue it. A model can still be briefly unavailable if its provider has an outage.
Can I use my key on more than one computer?
No. An app key works on the first computer that activates it. To move to a new computer, open your account page and replace the key, then enter the new key in the app there. The old key stops working, and your remaining time carries over.
Where do my prompts go?
Your chats and projects stay on your computer. When you send a message, it goes through our servers to the AI model supplier that runs the model you picked, along with any files the agent reads with your permission. We don't store the content. See the privacy policy.
When do my usage hours start?
Your clock starts on the first successful activation of your app key. It then runs continuously: 10 hours means 10 elapsed hours from activation, even when the app is closed. Viewing your key or visiting checkout does not start the timer.
Is my account number the same as my app key?
No. Your private account number signs you into this website. A separate Keychain.plus key connects the desktop app to the hours you bought. Save your account number somewhere safe, because there is no email or password recovery. Create your account in one step.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe Checkout. Keychain.plus never sees your card number. When payment clears, your hours appear in your account with a button to get your app key.
